Bouldin Capital Real Estate develops, acquires, and manages commercial properties in Texas, with a focus on industrial and multifamily. Based in Austin, Texas, BCRE’s team has decades of commercial real estate, capital markets, and management experience. BCRE follows a long-term, value-based investment strategy that seeks first to limit risk and then to balance income and capital gains.

Jeff Markey – BCRE Partner

Jeff is responsible for project selection and op erational matters for Bouldin Capital Real Estate. He personally oversees Austin self storage operations and manages BCRE’s property managers.

Jeff is also the COO and a Principal with AMS Real Estate Services, Inc., a full ‐ service commercial real estate due diligence firm with headquarters in Austin, TX. He has been with the firm since its first full year of operations in 2001. AMS provides a wide range of services in support of the origination, securitization and servicing of commercial real estate lo ans and portfolios and is a leading advisor for the CMBS industry. AMS is also a leading provider of due diligence services for both buyers and sellers in secondary market loan transactions.

Mr. Markey is also a seasoned commercial real estate investor lev eraging his depth of due diligence expertise. Previously, Jeff was the CIO of Prada USA Corp. headquartered in New York City. Jeff was responsible for all aspects of the enterprise systems across North America to include design, ordering, warehousing, who lesale and retail. Prior to Prada, Jeff was a systems analyst for distributed systems at Merrill Lynch in New York City and their 750+ branch offices across North America. Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics from UT Austin.​

Todd Erickson, CFA–BCRE Partner

Todd is responsible for project selection and financial matters for Bouldin Capital Real Estate, including BCRE’s four self storage facilities and its multifamily property. He has bought, renovated, managed, and sold numerous properties since 2006. Todd operates a successful luxury vacation rental property in the popular Austin neighborhood of Travis Heights with his wife. He serves as a General Partner for The Mohawk Austin, a 1,000 capacity live music venue with 30 employees and several awards as “best live music venue in Austin”.

Todd has invested billions of dollars of institutional capital in equity and debt around the world. He works in the Capital Markets Group of the Farm Credit Bank of Texas, which manages a $4 billion loan portfolio. Todd provides research services to Century Management, a $2 billion investment firm based in Austin. He previously served as a Portfolio Manager for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, providing stock selection for a portion of the $120 billion pension. Prior to that, Todd served as a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston advising institutional investors while living in New York, Tokyo, Chicago, and Houston.

Todd is a CFA Charterholder, a member of the CFA Society of Austin, and earned BBAs from the University of Texas at Austin in the Business Honors Program and Management Information Systems. He has previously held Series 7, 24, and 63 Securities licenses.music venue in Austin”.
